BETHANY, W.Va. - The Bethany College women's soccer team grinded out a draw against Carlow University. Despite getting some opportunities to score late and the Bison building momentum, severe storms stopped the game short of a traditional 90 minute affair.

Bethany (0-2-2) Leaders

• Senior All-PAC goalkeeper Hope Fair (Dunnville, Ontario/Lakeshore Catholic) and freshman Brooke Largent (Olmsted Falls, Ohio/) combined for eight saves on the day. Seven of those saves came in the shortened second half.

• Senior Academic All-District Forward Jordan Palmer (East Liverpool, Ohio) led the team in shots with eight. She really found a rhythm near the end of the game, firing off three high leverage shots on goal.

• PAC All-Academic Senior Lauren Cooper (Taneytown, Maryland/Francis Scott Key) and Senior Brionna Bash (Niles, Ohio/Niles McKinney) both launched shots towards the net with two and one SOG, respectively.

Carlow (0-2-1) Leaders

• Forward Lexi Twaddle was the primary offense for the Celtics posting six shots with four of them on goal.

• Goalkeeper Alannah Hall tallied six saves.

The Bison will hunt for their first win in less than 48 hours from now when they travel to Heidelberg for a non-conference matchup. The start time for Monday's game is 3 p.m.
