GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Bethany College men's soccer team fell to Grove City (Pa.) College by a final score of 4-1 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game on Don Lyle Field.
Bethany (0-4, 0-1 PAC) opened the conference slate against Grove City (3-0-3, 1-0 PAC) where the Green and White played from in front thanks to a goal in the 20th minute: the first Bison score of the year.

- Sophomore Academic All-PAC forward Fedgy Fertil (Pittsburgh, Pa./Plum Senior) scored the first goal of his career on the Bison's first shot of the day
- Junior forward Derieck Hernandez (New Orleans, La./Kenner Discovery), sophomore midfielder Jaydon Fluharty (Vienna, W.Va./Parkersburg), and freshman forward Byron Santos (Kenner, La./Alfred T. Bonnabel) each supplied the Bison offense with a shot
- Sophomore goalkeeper Lucas Bassetti (New Kent, Va.) and freshman goalkeeper Carlos Monque (Miami, Fla./Archbishop Coleman Carroll) made seven saves and three saves in goal for the Green and White, respectively
Grove City Leaders
- Senior midfielder Noah Gray recorded three points with a goal and an assist
- Sophomore goalkeeper Caedmon Whipple made one save for the Wolverines

The Bison are back in action Friday, September 18 as they host a homecoming and Presidents' Athletic Conference game against Westminster (Pa.) College at 4 p.m. on Don Ault Field at Bison Stadium.
