BETHANY, W.Va. - The Bethany College women's soccer team fell to Waynesburg (Pa.) University by a final score of 1-0 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game on Don Ault Field at Bison Stadium.
Bethany (0-6-2, 0-3 PAC) Leaders
- Senior All-PAC goalkeeper Hope Fair (Dunnville, Ontario/Lakeshore Catholic) saved the game on multiple occasions as she made a career-high 17 saves and kept a shutout through 54 minutes
- Senior Academic All-PAC forward Brionna Bash (Niles, Ohio/Niles McKinley) and junior forward Angi Ferri (Cadiz, Ohio/Harrison Central) each added a shot on goal
- Junior Academic All-PAC defender Emily Seibel (Niagara Falls, Ontario/Westlane Secondary School) nearly tied the game with another shot for the Bison offense
Waynesburg (5-3, 3-0 PAC) Leaders
- Sophomore midfielder Ryan White scored the only goal of the game
- Senior goalkeeper Lex Greenlief made two saves for the Yellow Jackets
- Junior forward Amande Pepe had a game-high nine shots with seven shots on goal
