BETHANY, W.Va. - The Bethany College women's soccer team hosted senior day at home against Ohio Wesleyan University . The Bison (0-8-2) fell to the Battling Bishops (3-3-4), but they shared memories and smiles while honoring the senior class's never-ending commitment to the team.

Bethany Seniors:
Two graduate students were shouted out as their final season as a Bison grew closer to completion. Chloe Lee and Lauren Cooper were honored last year, but shouted out among the seven other seniors tonight.
#00 Hope Fair: Fair has held down the net for the Bison in all four years. She holds the current record for lowest Goals Against Average in a season with less than one goal allowed per game (0.97). Most recently, Fair posted a career high 17 saves against Waynesburg. After graduation, she plans to pursue her masters of education.Â
#3 Brionna Bash: Bash has started over 50 games for the Bison in her four year career. She was an instant help to the Bison lineup starting every game her freshman year. Bash had a breakout sophomore season ushering five goals and an assist for a total of 11 points. After graduation, Brionna plans to pursue a career in medical or pharmaceutical sales, and potentially receive her MBA.Â
#4 Ally Barclay: Unfortunately for Barclay, her season has been forgone to injury. However, that didn't stop her from making a senior day start. Barclay is the only known player in the conference this season (and maybe ever) to have more starts than seconds played. After graduation, Barclay plans to continue her education and to coach high school ball.Â
#7 Jordan Palmer: The Captain wears the sash with pride, and has been an everyday player for the Bison over her four year career. Leading her class with 55 starts, Palmer has spent plenty of time in the Bison kit. This season, Palmer has been the driving force of the offense as she is involved in every Bison score of the season via goals or assists. After graduation, Palmer plans to attend graduate school for marine biology with an emphasis on marine mammals.Â
#10 Angelina Clayborn: The midfielder is playing the best she ever has in her senior campaign. The Bison has earned a starting role in every game this season, even scoring her first point via an assist to Palmer. After graduation, Clayborn plans to attend an accelerated nursing program with hopes of becoming a nurse practitioner.Â
#24 Katie Blake: Blake made her first start of her career this season, and has completed that feat six times over. Known as one of the favorite Bison on campus, the team has gone on record saying "If Katie Blake is ever off the team, we are boycotting". Thankfully for Bethany Soccer and everyone else, Blake is finishing her degree while playing soccer and the underclassmen have made concessions with her eventual departure. After graduation, Blake plans to attend veterinarian schoolÂ
#32 Jessica McHenry: Much like Blake, McHenry made her first start of her Bison career in 2026. She has started every game of the season so far as a defender. The most unique McHenry stat comes from her junior year where the Bison had to serve as an emergency goalie, tallying three saves. After graduation, McHenry plans to attend graduate school to pursue her doctorate in physical therapy.
The Bison will play their last non-conference home match next Tuesday. They will take on Penn State Altoona at 4 p.m.
