Josh Perry enters his first season as the Defensive Coordinator and Defensive Backs Coach at Bethany College in 2026.
Perry most recently served as the outside linebackers coach at the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2025 where he helped lead the Skyhawks to the third-best defense in the Ohio Valley Conference. He also led the defense at McComb High School as the team's defensive coordinator and was selected to be the coach of the 2025 All State Game in Lousiana.
Perry also played five seasons of FBS football at the University of Memphis and the University of Southern Mississippi where he recorded 120 tackles and one interception across 50 games including two bowl games with Memphis. In high school, he led Amite High School to the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class 3A title game and was an All-State first-team selection in 2014.
Perry earned his bachelor’s degree from Memphis in 2019 before pursuing his master’s degree at Southern Miss.
