James Hofmann enters his second season as a graduate assistant coach for the Bethany College men's soccer team in 2025.
Hofmann comes to Bethany after serving as a student assistant coach at SUNY Cortland in 2023 when the team won the State University of New York Athletic Conference Championship and reached the NCAA DIIIÂ Regional Semifinals. He then graduated from Cortland with a bachelors degree in coaching.
Hofmann is no stranger to the Ohio Valley as a former four-year member of the Wheeling Park High School boy's soccer team. In his senior season, he was named an Ohio Valley Athletic Conference All-Star and earned Offensive Most Valuable Player in the 2018 OVAC All-Star Game.
