After the Wolverines got on the board first on a kill by Natalija Galens, the Bison rattled off five-straight points, getting two service aces by Mackenzie Lauber (Mansfield, Ohio/Madison Mansfield) to run out to a 5-1 lead. With the Bison up five (14-9), the Green & White put the first game away, receiving three aces from senior Kelly Becquet (Finleyville, Pa./Ringgold) in a 6-0 run which put the Bison ahead 20-9. Bethany would go on to win game one, 25-14.
Game two was played a little closer, as the Bison found themselves down 8-5 early in the set. Bethany would respond nicely, going on a 13-1 run to completely swing the momentum in their favor.
