Franklin, Ind. – The Bethany Volleyball team traveled to Indiana for the Franklin College Invitational Friday evening. Bethany faced Trine in a five set thriller with the Bison defeating the Thunder, 3-2 inside the Spurlock Center.

THE HIGHLIGHTS

• The Bison and Thunder went back and forth in each set forcing a fifth set
• Bethany won the first (25-23), Third (25-14) and the fifth (15-11)

BY THE NUMBERS

• Senior Jess Moore totaled 18 kills with six digs and two blocks
• Sophomore Olivia Koehler tallied 14 kills and 18 digs
• Sophomore Emma Marthins added 11 kills and two blocks
• Junior Alaina Torres registered 46 assists and 17 digs
• Senior Brooke Corley had 24 digs
• Freshman Asia Crim totaled four aces

Bethany returns to the court Saturday, September 25 when they face Anderson and host Franklin College beginning at 10 am.
