NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Make no mistake about it, the Bethany College women's basketball team packed their defense in the luggage for the business trip to the Music City Classic.
The Bison limited Rhodes to just two points in the first quarter en route to the 62-30 win in the Trojan Fieldhouse on the campus of Trevecca Nazarene Sunday in non-conference action.

Defense was definitely Bethany's calling card as the Lynx didn't score more than 12 points in any quarter, holding Rhodes to just 26.7 percent (12-of-45) from the floor. The Lynx only made more than three field goals in one quarter.
Senior Lindsey Garrison made the first two three-pointers of the game and Bethany scored for the first eight points and never trailed.
