Sophomore Brionna Bash scored a pair of first-half goals as the Bethany College women's soccer team claimed its first Presidents' Athletic Conference win of the season, beating Waynesburg, 2-1, Saturday on Bison Stadium.
It was the first multi-goal game of her career and the first game-winning goal of her career.
The forward kicked off the scoring in the 15 minute with Jada Benjamin registering the assist, and then after the Yellow Jackets scored the equalizer in the 26 minute, Bash found the game winner two minutes later.
Sophomore Hope Fair and freshman Mathelyn Ruiz combined to allow one goal over the 90 minutes. Fair finished with one save on two shots, while Ruiz saved her only opportunity.
Bethany (4-3-2 overall, 1-1 PAC) will travel to Saint Vincent for PAC action 7 p.m. Wednesday.
