BETHANY, W.Va. - The Bethany College women's soccer team fell to Saint Vincent (Pa.) College by a final score of 5-0 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game at Hoag Field.
Bethany (1-7, 0-3 PAC) Leaders
- Junior Academic All-PAC forward Jordan Palmer (East Liverpool, Ohio/Beaver Local) facilitated the Bison offense once again with four shots and three on goal
- Senior midfielder Shunnye Christopher (Bathlodge, Antigua/Christ the King) added three shots with one on the Bearcat goal
- Senior All-PAC goalkeeper Hope Fair (Dunnville, Ontario/Lakeshore Catholic) and sophomore Jessica McHenry (South Charleston, Ohio/Northeastern) each made three saves
Saint Vincent (8-1-1, 2-0-1 PAC) Leaders
- Junior forward Emma Koller led Saint Vincent with four shots and scored two goals
- Junior midfielder Addie Fisher was the second Bearcat to record a multi-goal game with two on two shots
- Sophomore goalkeeper Rilyn Warner made a game-high five saves
First Half (Saint Vincent 2-0)
- 13:30 - Fisher got the scoring started with an assist from junior forward Jordan Kirkwood
- 22:15 - Koller scored her first goal of the day unassisted
Second Half (Saint Vincent 5-0)
- McHenry recorded all three of her saves in her first ever appearance in goal for the Green and White after relieving Fair due to injury
- The Bison upped their shots from just three in the first period to nine in the second half
The Bison are back in action on Saturday, October 4 as they host a Presidents' Athletic Conference game against Chatham (Pa.) University at 12 p.m. at Hoag Field
