LATROBE, Pa. - The Bethany College women's volleyball team fell to Saint Vincent (Pa.) College by a final score of 3-0 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference match at the Robert S. Carey Center.
Bethany (5-9, 2-3 PAC) Leaders
- Senior Academic All-PAC outside hitter Lesley Sanchez (Lorain, Ohio/Elyria Catholic) led the Bison offense with six kills
- Freshman middle block Layla Smith (Lakewood, Ohio) notched a team-high three blocks and also had five kills
- Sophomore Academic All-PAC defensive specialist Avery Askew (Ontario, Canada/Parkside Collegiate Institute) tied a match-high two service aces
- Freshman outside hitter Isabella Poppelriter (Wellsville, Ohio) finished with 15 digs and five kills
- Senior Academic All-PAC libero Andie Clark (Columbus, Ind./Hauser) led the Bison defense with 21 digs while also adding two assists
- Sophomore Academic All-PAC right-side hitter Shayleigh Hornyak (Brilliant, Ohio/Buckeye Local) recorded four kills and two solo blocks
- Freshman setter Grace Padavick (Cleveland, Ohio/Padua Franciscan) tallied 17 assists to lead the Green and White
Saint Vincent (3-8, 2-3 PAC) Leaders
- Sophomore outside hitter Meegan Williams posted a double-double with a match-high 15 kills and 12 digs
- Freshman setter Bailey Green had 31 assists and 11 digs
- Freshman libero Brenna McCracken tied Clark's total of 21 digs
