BETHANY, W.Va. - The Bethany College women's soccer team celebrated Senior Day as it fell to Geneva (Pa.) College by a final score of 5-1 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game at Hoag Field.
Prior to the game, Bethany (1-10, 0-6 PAC) honored seniors

Emily Wenger (New Cumberland, Pa./Cedar Cliff). The Bison came out strong playing in front of the best home atmosphere all season, but Geneva (4-5-4, 3-2-1 PAC) scored five unanswered until the Green and White got on the board with a made penalty kick.

- Senior All-PAC forward Monica Bird (McKinnon, Antigua/St. Anthony's Secondary School) scored in her second straight home game and took a team-high six shots with two on goal
- Senior Academic All-PAC defender Emily Wenger (New Cumberland, Pa./Cedar Cliff) tied a season-high four shots with three on goal on her Senior Day
- Senior Academic All-PAC goalkeeper Gabby Hicks (Chinchilla, Australia) saved two goals against the Golden Tornadoes
Geneva Leaders
- Junior defender Madalyn Fales assisted twice to finish with two points
- Junior forward Renae Mohrbacher was the game's points leader after notching a goal and an assist
- Freshman goalkeeper Natalie Foster made six saves of the Bison's 20 shots

- The Bison outshot the Golden Tornadoes 9-5
Second Half (Geneva 5-1)
- 82:16 - Bird got fouled hard by the new keeper but was able to convert on the PK
- Bethany led the corner margin 3-1
The Bison are back in action on Wednesday, October 15 as they host a Presidents' Athletic Conference matchup against Hiram (Ohio) College at 4 p.m. at Hoag Field.
