BETHANY, W.Va. - The Bethany College women's soccer team fell to Hiram (Ohio) College by a final score of 3-1 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game at Hoag Field.
Bethany (1-11, 0-7 PAC) Leaders
- Junior Academic All-PAC forward Jordan Palmer (East Liverpool, Ohio/Beaver Local) scored the go-ahead goal for her first of the year and took a game-high eight shots
- Senior All-PAC forward Monica Bird (McKinnon, Antigua/St. Anthony's Secondary School) recorded her fifth point of the year with an assist
- Senior Academic All-PAC goalkeeper Gabby Hicks (Chinchilla, Australia) made three saves and held a shutout for 66 minutes
Hiram (5-9, 2-4 PAC) Leaders
- Sophomore goalkeeper Madie Kennedy made a game-high four saves
- Junior midfielder Kali Baker led the Terriers with seven shots with one goal

- The Bison outshot the Terriers 7-6
- Bethany also led the corner kick margin 2-1
Second Half (Hiram 3-1)
- 53:41 - Bird found Palmer streaking down the field to put the Bison in front
- Hicks recorded her three saves after facing 11 shots in the second half
The Bison are back in action on Saturday, October 18 as they travel to Meadville, Pennsylvania to take on Allegheny (Pa.) College in a Presidents' Athletic Conference matchup at 1 p.m. at Frank B. Fuhrer Field.
