Women's Volleyball Bests Waynesburg For Third Time This Season

WAYNESBURG, Pa. - The Bethany College women's volleyball team defeated Waynesburg (Pa.) University by a final score of 3-0 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference match at Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse

Bethany (6-12, 3-6 PAC) Leaders

  • Senior Academic All-PAC libero Andie Clark (Columbus, Ind./Hauser) had a game-high 13 digs and also talllied two assists and two kills
  • Sophomore middle blocker Ashton Thomas (Toronto, Ohio) registered four blocks including three block solos and four kills
  • Freshman outside hitter Isabella Poppelriter (Wellsville, Ohio) served up a team-high two aces while adding eight digs and four kills
  • Freshman setter Grace Padavick (Cleveland, Ohio/Padua Franciscan) assisted 19 times and contributed seven digs
  • Senior Academic All-PAC middle blocker Averie Braymer (Saegertown, Pa.) and senior Academic All-PAC outside hitter Lesley Sanchez (Lorain, Ohio/Elyria Catholic) led the Green and White offense with six kills and five kills, respectively

  • Graduate outside hitter Larissa Howe led all players with 11 kills
  • Senior setter Riley Ruffley had a team-high 11 assists
  • Senior outside hitter Paige Mortimore finished with 10 digs and four kills
