WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Bethany College men's soccer team fell to Washington & Jefferson (Pa.) College by a final score of 1-0 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game at Alexandre Stadium.
Bethany (3-9-3, 2-6-1 PAC) Leaders
- Freshman midfielder Alessio De Pippo (Conroe, Texas/The Woodlands College Park) took a game-high four shots with two on goal in his 61 minutes of play
- Freshman forward Fedgy Fertil (Pittsburgh, Pa./Plum Senior), sophomore midfielder Samuel Bedoya (Cape Coral, Fla./Mariner), and senior forward Pablo Aguilera (Madrid, Spain/Colegio Brains) each took two shots for the Green and White
- Freshman defender Lane Ladner (Coppell, Texas) recorded the last Bison shot on goal while helping lead the Bethany defense to a near shutout
- Junior goalkeeper Adam Imhulse (Cincinnati, Ohio/Finneytown) recorded one save against the Presidents' two shots on goal
W&J (6-6-2, 4-4-1 PAC) Leaders
- Junior forward Jimmy Gogol only needed one shot to score the game's only goal
- Freshman defender Luke Curran tallied one assist through 80 minutes of playing time
- Freshman Logan Joseph and junior Graeme Ewert each made three saves in goal
