Women's Volleyball Drops Road Match to W&J

WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Bethany College women's volleyball team fell to Washington & Jefferson (Pa.) College by a final score of 3-0 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference match in Salvitti Family Gymnasium.

Bethany (7-15, 4-9 PAC) Leaders

  • Senior Academic All-PAC libero Andie Clark (Columbus, Ind./Hauser) had a team-high 17 digs with five assists
  • Sophomore middle blocker Ashton Thomas (Toronto, Ohio) reached 50 blocks on the year after tallying five block assists while also adding three kills
  • Junior Academic All-PAC setter Emma Egan (Pittsburgh, Pa./Seton LaSalle) finished with eight digs and two assists
  • Sophomore Academic All-PAC defensive specialist Avery Askew (Ontario, Canada/Parkside Collegiate Institute) added six digs and served up one ace for the Bison
  • Freshman setter Grace Padavick (Cleveland, Ohio/Padua Franciscan) assisted nine times and had one kill
  • Senior Academic All-PAC middle blocker Averie Braymer (Saegertown, Pa.) led the Green and White offense with five kills
W&J (13-12, 8-5 PAC) Leaders
  • Junior setter Brielle Moorhouse notched a game-best 21 assists
  • Freshman outside hitter Cali Dagen led all players with 13 kills
  • Senior libero Piper McFarland tallied a game-high 20 digs
