BETHANY, W.Va. - Bethany College women's wrestling sophomore
Trinity Barrus (Hysham, Mont.) has been ranked No. 19 in the 180-pound weight class in the latest Open Mat NCAA Women's National Rankings.
After being ranked No. 20 last week,Â
Barrus moves up to No. 19 in the entire country including wrestlers from NCAA's Divisions I, II, and III marking the highest ranking in program history. Among the Top-20, she ranks fifth among all Division III wrestlers.
This season,
Barrus has posted a 5-1 record with three pins to help the Bison get out to a 4-1 start on the year. In her career, she has posted a 30-7 record including a trip to the National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships Region IV Tournament and the NCWWCÂ Championships.
The Bison are back in action on Sunday, November 16 as they travel to Millersville, Pennsylvania to compete in the Millersville Open hosted by Millersville (Pa.) University at 10 a.m. in Pucillo Gymnasium.
