Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

Women's Basketball Upsets No. 12 Randolph-Macon

ATLANTA, Ga. - The Bethany College women's basketball team defeated No. 12 nationally ranked Randolph-Macon (Va.) College by a final score of 65-62 in the Emory Tip Off Classic hosted by Emory (Ga.) University in Woodruff PE Center Arena.

Bethany (2-2) closed the Tip Off with a bang after taking down the No. 12 ranked team in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Preseason Rankings following a third quarter surge by the Bison. Randolph-Macon (2-2) got out to a fast start, but the Green and White were able to battle back and hold off the Yellow Jackets in the final minutes to secure the program's first win over a ranked opponent since at least the 2003-04 season.
