Four Earn Honorable Mention on All-PAC Football Team

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Bethany College football team has placed four players on the 2025 All-Presidents' Athletic Conference Football team. Senior defensive end Amarion Williams (Miami, Fla./South Dade), junior quarterback Brett Phillips (Wheeling, W.Va./Wheeling Park), sophomore wide receiver Jermain Beersingh (Miami, Fla./Hialeah Senior), and sophomore punter/kicker Caden Langley (Wellsburg, W.Va./Brooke) have all earned honorable mention. 

Williams earns his second career all-conference honor after being named honorable mention in 2024. This season, he led the Green and White defense appearing in all 10 games where he was fourth on the team with 48 tackles including 26 unassisted tackles and a team-leading 13.5 tackles for loss. Williams was also fifth in the conference with 6.5 sacks for a total of 25 yards and added five forced fumbles which is tied for second in all of NCAA Division III. He has added two quarterback hurries, two pass breakups, and one blocked field goal this season.

In his career, Williams has appeared in 38 games where he has made 159 tackles with 80 solo tackles and 13.5 sacks. He has also recorded 28.5 tackles for loss, forced six fumbles, recovered two fumbles, broken up two passes, and has blocked two kicks. Williams is a one-time PAC Defensive Player of the Week and is a former D3football.com Team of the Week selection.

Phillips also earns his second straight All-PAC honorable mention after appearing in seven games this season. Despite missing three games due to injury, he completed 63.8% of his passes by throwing for 1,615 yards with 12 touchdowns and nine interceptions to average 230.71 yards per game. Phillips also rushed for a team-best 330 yards on 87 carries with two touchdowns to total 1,945 of offense on the year. He also had two punts for a total of 81 yards. 

In his Bethany career, Phillips has appeared in 17 games where he has thrown for 3,657 yards with 29 touchdowns and 21 interceptions while recording a completion percentage of 60.1% and an average of 215.12 yards per game. He has also rushed for 630 yards on 208 carries with three touchdowns for a total of 4,287 yards. Phillips has also registered a tackle and four punts for 147 yards. Phillips is a three-time PAC Newcomer of the Week honoree.

Beersingh earns his first All-PAC honor after appearing in all 10 games in his first season as a member of the Bison. He led the team with 560 receiving yards on 50 catches for an average of 56 yards per game with two touchdowns. Beersingh was also the Bison's return man where he fielded 22 kickoff returns for 478 yards with a 91-yard touchdown against Kalamazoo on Sep. 13. He also had eight carries for seven yards.

Langley earns his first career all-conference accolade after appearing in all 10 games for the Bison. He was a perfect 17-for-17 on PATs and was 3-for-5 on field goals with a long of 37 yards for a total of 26 points: a team-best. Langley also had 58 punts for 2,115 yards for an average of 36.47 yards per punt including nine punts over 50 yards and 12 pinned inside the 20-yard line. He also kicked for 1,281 on 30 kickoffs for an average of 42.7 yards per kick. On Sep. 8, Langley was named the PAC Special Teams Player of the Week and was then named to the D3football.com Team of the Week after punting seven times for 324 yards against Sewanee. 

In his career, Langley has appeared in 11 games where he has 59 punts for 2,158 yards and an average of 36.57 yards per punt. He has also scored 26 points after going 17-for-17 on PATs and 3-for-5 on field goals. Langley also has 30 kickoffs for 1,281 yards.

Phillips was also named to the 2025 PAC Football Sportsmanship Team.

The Bison finished the 2025 season with an overall record of 1-9 and a 1-7 record in the PAC.
