BETHANY, W.Va. - The Bethany College men's basketball team fell to Wilmington (Ohio) College by a final score of 109-101 in a non-conference game and the 2025-26 home opener on Joe Kurey Memorial Court at Hummel Fieldhouse.
Bethany (1-5) Leaders
- Senior guard Ryan Reasbeck (Washington, Pa./Wheeling Central Catholic) posted his first double-double of the season with 18 points and 11 boards while also adding four assists
- Graduate Academic All-PAC guard Troy Hixson (Grove City, Ohio/Bishop Ready) eclipsed his 900th career point after scoring 20 points thanks to 4-of-7 shooting from deep while adding four rebounds and four assists
- Freshman guard Semaj Marshall (Washington, D.C./Parkside) set a new career-high with 11 points and four assists
- Senior guard Co Rose (Odessa, Texas) tallied five steals, 10 points, four assists, and a block
- Sophomore forward Jayden Jackson (Columbia, S.C./A.C. Flora) scored 17 points in his first game at Hummel Fieldhouse and added four rebounds
- Sophomore guard Bryson Bishop (Dayton, Ohio/Stebbins) and junior guard Cole Matthews (Nashville, Tenn./Battle Ground Academy) contributed nine points and eight points, respectively
Wilmington (2-2) Leaders
- Senior guard Domenic Farley scored a game-high 33 points with four threes
- Junior forward Elijah Cathey grabbed a team-high nine rebounds to go with his 11 points
- Junior guard Carson Miles finished with five assists and four steals
The Bison are back in action on Monday, December 1 as they travel to Monaca, Pennsylvania to take on Penn State University-Beaver in a non-conference game at 7 p.m. inside the Gary B. Keefer Wellness Center.
