WAYNESBURG, Pa. - The Bethany College women's soccer team fell to Waynesburg (Pa.) University by a final score of 8-0 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game at John F. Wiley Field.

Bethany (1-6, 0-2 PAC) Leaders

• Senior midfielder Shunnye Christopher (Bathlodge, Antigua/Christ the King) took a team-high four shots with three on goal
• Senior All-PAC defender/midfielder Brooke Fuleki (Baltimore, Ohio/Bloom-Carroll) tallied three shots with one being on goal
• Senior defender Emily Wenger (New Cumberland, Pa./Cedar Cliff) also took two shots with one on goal
• Junior All-PAC goalkeeper Hope Fair (Dunnville, Ontario/Lakeshore Catholic) made nine saves against the Yellow Jackets

Waynesburg (7-1-1, 1-0-1 PAC) Leaders

• Sophomore forward Amanda Pepe recorded the hat trick plus an insurance goal on six shots
• Senior midfielder Reagan Mittendorf took three shots and scored two goals 
• Junior goalkeeper Lex Greenlief completed the shutout with six saves

First Half (Waynesburg 3-0)

• Fair made six of her nine saves on the day
• Waynesburg took 15 shots to the Bison's six

Second Half (Waynesburg 8-0)

• The Bison took the only corner of the second period
• The Yellow Jackets outshot the Green and White 10-7

The Bison are back in action on Saturday, September 27 as they travel to Waynesburg, Pennsylvania for a Presidents' Athletic Conference game against Waynesburg (Pa.) University at 4 p.m. at John F. Wiley Stadium.
