WAYNESBURG, Pa. - The Bethany College women's soccer team fell to Waynesburg (Pa.) University by a final score of 8-0 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game at John F. Wiley Field.
Bethany (1-6, 0-2 PAC) Leaders
- Senior midfielder Shunnye Christopher (Bathlodge, Antigua/Christ the King) took a team-high four shots with three on goal
- Senior All-PAC defender/midfielder Brooke Fuleki (Baltimore, Ohio/Bloom-Carroll) tallied three shots with one being on goal
- Senior defender Emily Wenger (New Cumberland, Pa./Cedar Cliff) also took two shots with one on goal
- Junior All-PAC goalkeeper Hope Fair (Dunnville, Ontario/Lakeshore Catholic) made nine saves against the Yellow Jackets
Waynesburg (7-1-1, 1-0-1 PAC) Leaders
- Sophomore forward Amanda Pepe recorded the hat trick plus an insurance goal on six shots
- Senior midfielder Reagan Mittendorf took three shots and scored two goals
- Junior goalkeeper Lex Greenlief completed the shutout with six saves

- Fair made six of her nine saves on the day
- Waynesburg took 15 shots to the Bison's six
Second Half (Waynesburg 8-0)
- The Bison took the only corner of the second period
- The Yellow Jackets outshot the Green and White 10-7
