BETHANY, W.Va. - The Bethany College women's soccer team fell to Penn State University-Altoona in a non-conference game by a final score of 2-1 at Spring Run Stadium.
Bethany (0-2) Leaders
- Senior All-PAC midfielder Brooke Fuleki (Baltimore, Ohio/Bloom-Carroll) needed only one shot to score the first Bison goal of the season
- Freshman defender Joselyn Juarez (Fort Wayne, Ind./Bishop Luers) got her first start and recorded an assist in her collegiate debut
- Junior All-PAC goalkeeper Hope Fair (Dunnville, Ontario/Lakeshore Catholic) tied a game-high five saves
- Senior defender Emily Wenger (New Cumberland, Pa./Cedar Cliff) took two shots on goal
- Senior midfielder Shunnye Christopher (Bathlodge, Antigua/Christ the King) led the team with three shots with one on goal
PSA (2-0-1) Leaders
- Freshman midfielder Kira Trexler scored a game-best three points with a goal and an assist
- Sophomore defender Grace Turner scored the game-winning goal
- Junior goalkeeper Mya Torres led the Lions with five saves
