NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Bethany College football sophomore punter/kicker
Caden Langley (Wellsburg, W.Va./Brooke) has been named the Presidents' Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for the first time in his career.
Langley earns his first career weekly accolade after consistently flipping the field for the Bison in Saturday's game against Sewanee. Of his seven punts on the day, four traveled 50+ yards for an average of 46.3 per boot, highlighted by a long of 60.
Langley pinned three punts inside the Sewanee 5-yard line with no touchbacks and a game total of 324 yards. In the Bison's two kickoffs, he also averaged 45 yards per kick with 90 total yards.
In his career,
Langley has appeared in two games where he has eight punt attempts for 367 yards for an average of 45.88 per punt. Â
The Bison are back in action Saturday, September 13 as they travel to Kalamazoo, Michigan to take on Kalamazoo (Mich.) College in a non-conference game at Angell Field at 1 pm.
