Men's Basketball Tops Thiel in PAC Game of the Week

BETHANY, W.Va. - The Bethany College men's basketball team defeated Thiel (Pa.) College by a final score of 80-70 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game and one of the PAC Sports Network's Games of the Week on Joe Kurey Memorial Court inside Hummel Fieldhouse.

Bethany (6-9, 2-3 PAC) Leaders
  • Sophomore forward Jayden Jackson (Columbia, S.C./A.C. Flora) and senior guard Co Rose (Odessa, Texas) continue to fuel the Bison offense as they each scored 19 points and contributed to 19 of the Bison's 32 field goals
  • Graduate Academic All-PAC guard Troy Hixson (Grove City, Ohio/Bishop Ready) scored 18 thanks to 3-for-4 shooting from deep while adding three rebounds
  • Senior guard Ryan Reasbeck (Washington, Pa./Wheeling Central Catholic) finished with 10 points for his twelfth game in double-figures on the season with six rebounds and a team-high two steals
  • Sophomore guard Bryson Bishop (Dayton, Ohio/Stebbins) tied the third-most blocks in a single game with a career-high six swats as he also recorded eight rebounds and four points
  • Freshman guard Semaj Marshall (Washington, D.C./Parkside) led the team in assists with five and in steals with two while grabbing four rebounds
  • Senior guard TJ Jenkins (Pittsburgh, Pa./Woodland Hills) nailed a clutch three at the end of the first half and finished with six rebounds
  • Freshman guard Ryan Raich (Olmsted Falls, Ohio) recorded a career-high two boards off the bench
Thiel (4-10, 1-5 PAC) Leaders
  • Senior forward Kenny Ermat finished with a double-double consisting of 17 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Tomcats
  • Sophomore guard Anthony Henderson II also scored 17 points including going 11-for-12 at the free-throw line 
  • Junior forward Khamari Accursio-Harris added 11 points and notched a team-high three assists
The Bison are back in action on Wednesday, January 21 as they travel to Waynesburg, Pennsylvania to take on Waynesburg (Pa.) University in a Presidents' Athletic Conference matchup at 5 p.m. in Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse.
