LATROBE, Pa. - The Bethany College men's volleyball team fell to Saint Vincent (Pa.) College by a final score of 3-0 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference match in the Robert S. Carey Center.
Bethany (0-6, 0-1 PAC) Leaders
- Sophomore Academic All-PAC libero Cole Thomas (Lindside, W.Va./James Monroe) notched a season-high 14 digs while adding one assist and one kill
- Sophomore All-PAC outside hitter Riley Burdett (Jefferson Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) and sophomore middle blocker Emilio Feliciano (El Mirage, Ariz./Dysart) each put down six kills to lead the Green and White offense
- Freshman setter Zachary Kay (Little Egg Harbor, N.J./Pinelands) assisted on 20 kills, which is the most by any Bison this season, and also added six digs, three kills, and an ace
- Junior middle blocker Rylan Trapp (Belleville, Ill./Belleville Township) finished with a statline of four kills, three digs, and one block
- Freshman setter Jason Martin (McKeesport, Pa.) tallied six digs and two kills as well as picking up his first career block
- Junior outside hitter Tyler Johnson (Oswego, Ill.) added three kills against the Bearcats
Saint Vincent (5-2, 1-0 PAC) Leaders
- Senior right-side hitter Shawn McSwiggen finished with a match-high 12 kills while contributing four aces and two blocks
- Freshman setter Jack Ryan tallied 32 assists and six digs
- Sophomore libero Jackson Genicola led the Saint Vincent defense with 17 digs
