BETHANY, W.Va. - The Bethany College women's basketball team fell to Waynesburg (Pa.) University by a final score of 82-71 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game on Joe Kurey Memorial Court inside Hummel Fieldhouse.
Bethany (15-7, 10-3 PAC) Leaders
- Graduate All-PAC guard Lindsey Garrison (Triadelphia, W.Va./Wheeling Park) dropped a season-high 32 points, which marks her fourth career 30-point game and her first since her junior season, and added three assists, two rebounds, and one steal
- Junior Academic All-PAC forward Kate Botti (Irwin, Pa./Norwin) grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds while also scoring seven points
- Sophomore guard Ella Simpson (Morgantown, W.Va./University) also reached double-figures with 11 points
- Senior Academic All-PAC forward Kaedlee Potter (Barboursville, W.Va./Cabell Midland) finished with eight points and eight rebounds with an assist and a steal
- Freshman guard and PAC Newcomer of the Week Lindsey Best (Rayland, Ohio/Martins Ferry) totaled nine points, four rebounds, and two assists
Waynesburg (12-10, 8-5 PAC) Leaders
- Junior guard Kara McFadden led the Yellow Jackets with 23 points and six assists
- Senior guard Kalista Friday tallied a team-high eight rebounds, a team-high nine assists, and scored 19 points
- Junior forward Julz Mohrbacher added eight rebounds, five points, three steals, and two blocks
The Bison are back in action on Saturday, February 14 as they travel to New Wilmington, Pennsylvania to take on Westminster (Pa.) College in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game at 1 p.m. in Buzz Ridl Gymnasium.
