PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Bethany College men's basketball team fell to Chatham (Pa.) University by a final score of 87-73 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game in the Athletic & Fitness Center
Bethany (8-12, 4-7 PAC) Leaders
- Sophomore forward Jayden Jackson (Columbia, S.C./A.C. Flora) scored 15 points and added five rebounds for the Bison
- Senior guard Ryan Reasbeck (Washington, Pa./Wheeling Central Catholic) made a team-best four three-pointers leading to 16 points while also recording five rebounds, two steals, and an assist
- Senior guard TJ Jenkins (Pittsburgh, Pa./Woodland Hills) made it three straight games with nine rebounds where he once again led the team and added three assists
- Senior forward Alex Andrews (Ocoee, Fla.) finished with eight points and seven rebounds
- Senior guard Co Rose (Odessa, Texas) led the team in scoring with 19 points along with his five rebounds, three assists, and three steals
- Graduate Academic All-PAC guard Troy Hixson (Grove City, Ohio/Bishop Ready) did it all for Bethany with six points, four assists, a game-high two blocks, two assists, and a steal
Chatham (14-5, 9-2 PAC) Leaders
- Senior guard Lovenson Xavier recorded a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds while forcing two steals
- Senior guard Diaun Pinkett finished with 13 points and a game-high seven assists
- Junior guard Drew Vizenor scored 17 points and finished with five rebounds
First Half (Chatham 42-37)
- Reasbeck finished with 11 of his 16 points powered by three threes
- Jenkins grabbed five of his boards leading the Bison to outrebound Chatham 22-20
- Rose three steals in part of forcing five Cougar turnovers
Second Half (Chatham 87-73)
- The Cougars got out to a 15-5 run to start the half, but the Bison then went on a 11-7 run of their own
- Junior guard Loghan Brown (Woodsfield, Ohio/Monroe Central) sank three free throws for his first points of the season
The Bison are back in action on Saturday, February 7 as they host Grove City (Pa.) College in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game at 3 p.m. on Joe Kurey Memorial Court inside Hummel Fieldhouse.
