BETHANY, W.Va. - The Bethany College women's basketball team defeated Grove City (Pa.) College by a final score of 81-71 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game on Joe Kurey Memorial Court inside Hummel Fieldhouse.
Bethany (15-6, 10-2 PAC) Leaders
- Senior Academic All-PAC forward Kaedlee Potter (Barboursville, W.Va./Cabell Midland) recorded her second straight double-double that included 11 points and 10 rebounds while adding four assists and a block
- Freshman guard and PAC Newcomer of the Week Lindsey Best (Rayland, Ohio/Martins Ferry) scored a career-high 20 points and tallied a team-high five assists
- Junior Academic All-PAC forward Kate Botti (Irwin, Pa./Norwin) grabbed a game-best 16 boards along with four points, four assists, and two steals
- Sophomore Academic All-PAC guard Addy Blazer (Hanoverton, Ohio/United Local) finished with nine points, two rebounds, and an assist
- Sophomore guard Ella Simpson (Morgantown, W.Va./University) added 17 points with four assists while graduate All-PAC guard Lindsey Garrison (Triadelphia, W.Va./Wheeling Park) finished with 13 points and three assists
Grove City (13-8, 7-5 PAC) Leaders
- Sophomore forward Alexis Hudson tied a game-high 20 points with four rebounds
- Junior guard Bethany Thompson led the team with six rebounds and added nine rebounds
- Senior guard Reese Hasley finished with 11 points, a game-high six assists, and five rebounds
