BETHANY, W.Va. - The Bethany College women's lacrosse team defeated Thiel (Pa.) College by a final score of 11-4 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game on Don Ault Field at Bison Stadium.
Bethany (5-3, 2-1 PAC) Leaders
- Senior attack Grace Schweickert (Hiram, Ohio/Crestwood) scored a career-high three goals on five shots as she also added two ground balls and one caused turnover
- Senior midfielder Lexie Reid (Louisville, Ky./Ballard) also had a multi-goal game with two goals, two ground balls, two caused turnovers, and one draw control
- Senior Academic All-PAC goalkeeper Madison Wagoner (Morgantown, W.Va./University) made two saves against the Tomcats
- Junior Academic All-PAC midfielder Ally Barclay (Nashport, Ohio/Tri-Valley) forced three Thiel turnovers and recorded two ground balls
- Freshman attack Hayden Chickerell (Fairmont, W.Va./Fairmont Senior) made it two straight games with a goal and added two ground balls and one CTO
- Senior defender Alena Arbogast (Morgantown, W.Va./University) scored her first goal of the year and recorded three ground balls
- Junior midfielder Catharina Recabeitia (Buenos Aires, Argentina/Escuela Normal Superior-Vicente Fatone) finished with four caused turnovers, three ground balls, one draw control, and one assist
- Junior midfielder Kamora Figueroa (Baltimore, Md./Patapsco) also scored to earn a total of four goals in her past two games
- Junior Academic All-PAC midfielder Tatum Severe (Hilliard, Ohio/Hilliard Bradley) led the Bison in points with three goals and one assist as well as three ground balls, one caused turnover, and one draw control
- Senior defender Janez Matthews (Annapolis, Md.) added four ground balls with one caused turnover and draw control
- Senior All-PAC defender Emily Wenger (New Cumberland, Pa./Cedar Cliff) led the Bethany defense once again with six draw controls, six ground balls, and six caused turnovers

- Freshman midfielder Camille Turner led the Tomcats with two goals and added two ground balls and two caused turnovers
- Junior midfielder Makayla Flock tied a team-high three ground balls and three caused turnovers
- Sophomore goalkeeper Edith Lithkousky made 17 saves against the Bison
The Bison are back in action on Wednesday, April 1 as they travel to Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania to take on Geneva (Pa.) College in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game at 4 p.m. on Wright Field at Veterans Park.
