Women's Soccer Opens PAC Slate at Grove City

GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Bethany College women's soccer team fell to Grove City (Pa.) College by a final score of 10-0 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game at Don Lyle Field.

Bethany (0-4-2, 0-1 PAC) Leaders
  • Senior Academic All-PAC forward Jordan Palmer (East Liverpool, Ohio/Beaver Local) led the Bison offense with three shots
  • Senior Academic All-PAC forward Brionna Bash (Niles, Ohio/Niles McKinley) and sophomore midfielder Joselyn Juarez (Fort Wayne, Ind./Bishop Luers) also each tallied a shot
  • Senior All-PAC goalkeeper Hope Fair (Dunnville, Ontario/Lakeshore Catholic) had seven saves for the Green and White while freshman goalkeeper Brooke Largent (Olmsted Falls, Ohio) added four
Grove City (4-0-1, 1-0 PAC) Leaders
  • Senior forward Hannah Plunkard scored a game-high two goals for the Wolverines
  • Junior midfielder Marina Hahn assisted twice for two points
The Bison are back in action Friday, September 18 as they host a homecoming and Presidents' Athletic Conference game against Westminster (Pa.) College at 6:30 p.m. on Don Ault Field at Bison Stadium.
