NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Bethany College men's soccer forward Ian Stempler (Buenos Aires, Argentina/Farmingdale College) has been named the October Presidents' Athletic Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Male Athlete of the Month.

Each month, the SAAC groups at PAC member institutions are asked to nominate one male and one female student-athlete for PAC SAAC Scholar-Athlete of the Month consideration based on academic and athletic accomplishments. Nominees must be varsity team members in their respective sport and in their junior or senior year. Scholar-Athlete of the Month nominees must also have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher and be actively involved within their campus communities.

Stempler earns the conference-wide accolade after appearing in eight games and making seven starts in the month of October. He scored two goals for a total of four points while taking 11 shots with seven on goal last month. This season, Stempler appeared in all 17 games making 15 starts where he led the team in goals with five including the gamewinner in Bethany's season-opening win over Adrian. He finished second on the team with 10 points and tallied 19 shots with 13 on goal.

In his career, Stempler has appeared in 47 games making 20 starts. He has scored six goals including one gamewinner for 12 total points while taking 34 shots with 21 on goal. Academically, Stempler carries a 3.30 GPA as a sports management major and is a Phi Delta Psi Physical Education Honor Society.

The Bison finished the 2025 season with an overall record of 5-9-3 and a 4-6-1 record in the PAC.
