GREENWOOD, Ind. - Bethany College men's soccer senior defender Jaheem Sheppard (Sea View Farm, Antigua/Antigua Grammar School) has been named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team.

In order to qualify for Academic All-District, a student-athlete must be a sophomore academically and athletically, must carry a 3.50 or higher grade point average and must have competed in 90 percent of the institution's games.

Sheppard earns his first Academic All-District honor after appearing in 13 games making 12 starts for the Bison this season. He took 12 shots and helped lead the Bison defense that posted two shutouts, averaged 1.94 goals per game, and held opponents to a .150 shot percentage.

In his career, Sheppard has appeared in 35 games making 24 starts. He has taken 17 shots with three on goal for a .176 shot percentage and is an Academic All-Presidents' Athletic Conference selection. Academically, Sheppard has earned a 3.74 grade average as a business management major.

Sheppard will now advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot, which will be announced on December 16.

The Bison finished the 2025 season with an overall record of 5-9-3 and a 4-6-1 record in the PAC.
