INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Bethany College men's soccer assistant coach
James Hofmann represented the Bison at the 2026 NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar at the NCAA headquarters from January 28-30.
The 2026 NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar is a three-day professional development experience that provides aspiring coaches and other young sport professionals from all levels of the NCAA with leadership, educational, and transitional programming. Through interactive presentations, breakouts, and panel discussions, participants explored career pathways, expanded their professional network, and practiced real-world leadership skills that they will be able to further use in their future professional careers.
Hofmann was just one of more than 160 attendees from NCAA membership institutions, conference offices, and affiliate organizations, and was one of two representatives of the Presidents' Athletic Conference to participate in the 18th annual Emerging Leaders Seminar.
Hofmann just recently completed his second season as a graduate assistant coach for the Bethany College men's soccer team in 2025 and will be graduating from Bethany in May of 2026 with his master's of education.
