STEUBENVILLE, Ohio - The Bethany College swimming and diving team competed against the Franciscan University of Steubenville (Ohio) in a Presidents' Athletic Conference dual meet at Big Red Natatorium.
Bethany went head-to-head with their rival across the river as both the Bison and Franciscan competed individually in 13 events. Freshman
Corbin Henry (Martinsburg, W.Va.) was the lone men's swimmer at the dual as he swam in both the 100-meter and 200-meter freestyles with times of 1:00.02 and 2:12.30, respectively, to earn 18 points for the Green and White.
Sophomore
JulieAnne Humpe (Yorkville, Ohio/Wheeling Central Catholic) took on the Lady Barons single-handedly in the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard backstroke. She finished with a total of six points through both events finishing the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 28.89 and taking second in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:11.15.

The Bison are back in action on Saturday, November 8 as they travel to Hiram, Ohio to compete against Hiram (Ohio) College and Oberlin (Ohio) College in the Hiram Tri-Meet at 1 p.m. in Alumni Memorial Pool.
