MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The Bethany College women's track and field team competed at the Presidents' Athletic Conference 2026 Indoor Championships at The Track & Field Complex at Mylan Park.
The Bison had one more test before closing out the 2025-26 season as they fielded six athletes across six different events at the 2026 PAC Championships. Despite being a fraction of the size as some of the other competing teams, Bethany took home tenth place out of 12 teams with nine team points. Geneva (Pa.) College was named conference championship for the very first time with 140.5 team points.
Junior
Madi Donelson (Lanham, Md./Annapolis Area Christian) supplied the Bison with all nine of the team's points after competing in both the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash. In the 100, she qualified with a time of 12.69 and then ran a personal-best 12.75 in the final to finish fifth overall. In the 200,
Donelson posted another personal-best time of 26.64 as she took home fourth out of 20 runners for five more team points.
Also running in both the 100 and 200 was freshman
Yakira Cunningham (Columbus, Ohio/Centennial). She clocked a 13.71 in the 100 prelims and later timed a 29.31 in the 200 in her first outdoor championships.
Junior
Mary Tracey (Clarksburg, W.Va./Liberty) wrapped up the track events for the Bison after completing the 1500-meter run with a time of 6:27.80.
Freshman
Ariana Augustine (Claysville, Pa./McGuffey) had a career day in the field events after notching personal bests in both the shot put and the hammer. She placed 12th in the shot with a mark of 10.12 meters and then finished 14th in the hammer throw with distance of 34.52 to lead the Green and White and was named to the 2026 PAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Sportsmanship Team.
Sophomore
Marissa French (Reynoldsburg, Ohio) also competed in the shot put where she had a toss of 9.92 to finish in 15th place.
Freshman
MyJanniea Baptist (Los Angeles, Calif./Lawndale) was the final Bison thrower to take the field where she threw the discus and landed 17th out of 25 with a distance of 29.73.
The 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships will be held Thursday, May 21 to Saturday, May 23 at Veteran's Memorial Field Sports Complex in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
