BEALLSVILLE, Pa. - The Bethany College men's golf team competed at the Waynesburg Fall Invitational hosted by Waynesburg (Pa.) University at the Nemacolin Country Club.
Head Coach
Kailey Pettit's squad had another day for the record books by setting a new program record with a 297 (+9) team score after breaking the previous team score record just two weeks ago. Three Bison finished within the Top-5 to lead the team with junior
Samuel Phillips (Charleston, W.Va./Herbert Hoover) shooting a career-best round of 70 (-2) to finish second out of the 40-man field for his first career Top-5 finish while freshman

Also a part of the Bison's record-setting round was All-Presidents' Athletic Conference junior
Jude Smith (Weirton, W.Va./Weir) who shot a 76 (+4) to tie for sixth overall, and a career-best for freshman
Brayden Roberts (Franklin, Ky./Franklin-Simpson) who penciled in a 77 (+5) to tie for eleventh place.
Freshman
