NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Bethany College softball freshman first baseman
Jenna Nolan (McDonald, Pa./West Allegheny) has been named the Presidents' Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Week for the first time in her career.
Nolan earns her first Newcomer of the Week honor and the team's third straight appearance in the PAC weekly awards after helping lead the Bison to a 2-0 start in conference play last week. In Game 1 of Bethany's doubleheader against Franciscan, she went 2-for-4 with an RBI single in the first inning.
Nolan then continued the hot start to her freshman season by driving in four runs in the second game once again finishing 2-for-4 with two doubles.
This season,
Nolan has appeared in and started all 12 games for the Bison where she is batting .432 with 16 hits including three doubles. She has also recorded 10 RBI and has scored three runs in part of the Bison's 11-1 start to the 2026 campaign.
The Bison are back in action Wednesday, March 25 as they host a Presidents' Athletic Conference doubleheader against Hiram (Ohio) College beginning at 1 p.m. on Bison Field.
