NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Bethany College men's and women's track & field teams have been picked to finish seventh and tenth in the 2026 Presidents' Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Pre-Championships Coaches Poll, respectively.
The Bison's women's team was predicted to finish tenth once again with 27 points after being picked and finishing tenth in the indoor pre-championship polls. Geneva (Pa.) College was picked to finish first with 119 points and 10 first-place votes while the defending PAC Champion Grove City (Pa.) College came in second with 108 points and one first-place vote. Westminster (Pa.) College finished third with 101 points followed by Washington & Jefferson (Pa.) College which had 87 points and the final first-place vote, and Allegheny (Pa.) College with 79 points.
The Bison men were picked fifth in the winter and finished the indoor season in sixth place as they check in at seventh in the outdoor polls with 63 points. Geneva also earned the top spot in the men's poll with 10 first-place votes and 119 points with Grove City coming in second with 112 points and the last two first-place votes. Westminster earned 100 points to finish third, W&J finished fourth with 84 points, and Hiram (Ohio) College tallied 80 points to round out the top five.
Earning top seeds ahead of the outdoor PAC Championships are the men's 4x100 relay comprised of freshman
Jamari Curlett (Erie, Pa./North East), freshman
Ziacheas White (Waycross, Ga./Ware County), freshman
Jason Ellman (Erie, Pa./North East), and junior
Caliyph McClinton (Pittsburgh, Pa./Neighborhood Academy) with a time of 41.10 as well as junior discus thrower
Jalen Britton (Fort Lee, Va./Prince George) who has a conference-best mark of 48.61 meters.
At last season's outdoor PAC Championships, the Bison finished tenth in the women's events with 15 team points and eighth in the men's events with 38.5 team points.

The Bison are back in action on Thursday, April 30 as they travel to Morgantown, West Virginia to compete at the Presidents' Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships at The Track & Field Complex at Mylan Park.
